Mindfulness-Awareness Meditation

See set AS6 under “Sounds True” section. Also in the video section - BR11-DVD: Turning the Mind into an Ally, a DVD by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche includes excellent guided meditation. Books which include commentary on the path of mindfulness-awareness meditation include BR11: Turning the Mind into an Ally, BR1: Shambhala: The Sacred Path of the Warrior, BR3: The Path is the Goal, and BR4: The Heart of the Buddha. These four books are by Pema Chödrön’s teachers Chögyam Trungpa and Sakyong Mipham.

We recommend that students receive in-person meditation instruction from an authorized Shambhala instructor (or some other genuine lineage) if at all possible. We would be happy to answer questions about meditation practice. Feel free to call (269) 384-4167 or write gptapes@aol.com
